Uniform

Uniform plays a key role in creating an inclusive community, providing a school identity and demonstrating equality amongst students. Al Mizan School expects a high standard of personal appearance from all its students. The presentation of self to the highest standard is a key professional skill that employers demand. If a child is wearing the incorrect uniform, parents will be contacted to bring the correct uniform on the day. Variations on the uniform are not allowed. The uniform has been designed to be fair and reasonable. Final decisions on the appropriate nature of choice of uniform will lie with the Head Teacher.

Uniform Requirements

Boys

• Maroon school jumper (must be purchased from our suppliers)
• White polo school t-shirt (must be purchased from our suppliers)
• Grey trousers (can be purchased from our suppliers or another retailer) – black/navy trousers are not allowed
• Plain socks
• Black shoes/trainers – football boots are not allowed. Should not have lights or wheels.

1. White hat (optional).

Girls

• Maroon cardigan/jumper (must be purchased from the suppliers)
• White polo school t-shirt (must be purchased from our suppliers)
• Plain grey pinafore dress (optional) must be worn with white polo t-shirt and maroon school jumper.
• Grey trousers/grey skirt (can be purchased from our suppliers) - tight fitting, denim, leggings, jeggings, or trousers that show the ankle are not allowed
• Plain socks/grey plain opaque tights
• Black shoes/trainers - football boots are not allowed. Should not have lights or wheels
• Pull on headscarves only in white. Safety pins/magnets are not allowed (Year 3 and 4 optional & Year 5 and 6 recommended)
• Plain black ankle length closed Abaya (recommended only for Year 5 and 6). Should be worn with maroon school cardigan.

PE Kit (Boys & Girls)

• Red T-shirt with school crest (must be purchased from our suppliers)
• Black tracksuit bottoms/joggers
• Plain socks
• Trainers (must not be school shoes or football boots)
• Bag
